Nous avons fêté les 9 ans de Dr. Sketchy à Montréal le 10 septembre avec la sublime Coeur de Lyon qui a posé en Jessica Rabbit!

We celebrated the 9th year of Dr. Sketchy in Montreal on September 10 with the breathtaking Coeur de Lyon posing as Jessica Rabbit!

Les artistes sont venus en grand nombre pour le lancement de notre nouvelle saison. Ce fut un plaisir de les retrouver après tout un été.

The artists came in great numbers for the launch of our new season. It was nice seeing them again after our summer break.

À la pause, nous avons partagé des petits gâteaux pour souligner notre 9e anniversaire. Ils étaient faits par nous avec amour et garnis de bonbons pétillants!

At the break, we brought out some cupcakes to mark our 9th anniversary. They were made by us with love and sprinkled with pop rocks!

Après s'être sucré le bec, nous avons repris nos crayons pour dessiner Coeur de Lyon en Jessica Rabbit encore plus sexy!

After a sugar boost, we picked up our pencils again to draw Coeur de Lyon as an even sexier Jessica Rabbit!

La température a monté de quelques degrés... Ouf!

The temperature jumped up a few degrees... Ouf!

Coeur de Lyon a eu la tâche difficile de choisir les gagnants de nos concours.

Dr. Sketchy Montréal est de retour et vous invite à sa prochaine séance de modèle vivant : « Why Don’t You Do Right ». Nous aurons le plaisir de dessiner la magnifique Coeur de Lyon qui posera pour nous en Jessica Rabbit! « Je ne suis pas mauvaise, je suis juste dessinée comme ça. »

La séance aura lieu le samedi, 10 septembre de 14:00h à 17:00h au Théâtre MainLine, 3997, boul. St-Laurent. L’entrée sera de 10 $ et n’oubliez pas votre cahier à dessin.

Session #108 - Why Don’t You Do Right
Dr. Sketchy Montreal is back and invites you to its next figure drawing session: Why Don’t You Do Right. We will have the pleasure of drawing the amazing Coeur de Lyon, who will pose for us as Jessica Rabbit! “I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.” 

The session will take place on Saturday, September 10, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the MainLine Theatre, 3997 St-Laurent Blvd. The cover will be $10 and don’t forget your sketchbook.

At the Montreal Comiccon, on July 9, we had the great pleasure of hosting a drawing workshop in collaboration with Studio Technique.

La talentueuse Samantha Youssef, directrice de Studio Technique et animatrice professionnelle, était au rendez-vous pour partager son expérience et donner des astuces aux participants.

The talented Samantha Youssef, Studio Technique's director and professional animator, was there to share her experience and give the participants some great drawing tips.

Notre modèle fut la ravissante Danielle Hubbard qui a posé en Catwoman!

Our model was the meow-lishous Danielle Hubbard posing as Catwoman!

Comme à tous événements de Dr. Sketchy, nous avions des concours et notre jolie modèle en a sélectionné les gagnants. Pas une tâche facile!

True to Dr. Sketchy, we held some contests during the event and let our lovely model choose the contest winners. Not an easy task!

Nous sommes très excités de vous inviter à notre prochain événement : Dynamic Posing - Drawing Characters from Life!

Présenté en collaboration avec Studio Technique, cet atelier aura lieu au Comiccon de Montréal. Il combinera l'esprit convivial de Dr. Sketchy et les instructions de Samantha Youssef, directrice artistique de Studio Technique et animatrice professionnelle. 

Notre modèle sera la superbe Danielle Hubbard qui posera en Catwoman!

La séance aura lieu le samedi, 9 juillet, de 18h15 à 20h15 au Comiccon de Montréal, Palais des congrès. L'atelier est gratuit pour les gens ayant accès au site et n’oubliez pas votre cahier à dessin.

We are very excited to invite you to our next event: Dynamic Posing - Drawing Characters from Life!

Presented in collaboration with Studio Technique, this workshop will be held at the Montreal Comiccon. It will combine the fun vibe of Dr. Sketchy with the instructions of Samantha Youssef, artistic director of Studio Technique and professional animator.

Our model will be the superb Danielle Hubbard, posing as Catwoman!

The session will be held on Saturday, July 9, from 6:15pm to 8:15pm at the Montreal Comiccon, Palais des congrès. The workshop is free for all who have access to the site, and don't forget your sketchbook.

Notre 9e séance au Festival Fringe de Montréal a eu lieu le 19 juin. Nos magnifiques modèles, Miss Rouge à Lèvres & French Kiss, ont posé sous le thème de Pulp Fiction.

Our 9th session at the Montreal Fringe Festival took place June 19. Our amazing models, Miss Rouge à Lèvres & French Kiss, posed in a Pulp Fiction theme.

Nos modèles sont venus armés d'un cartable plein de photos du film. Chaque pose était authentique au classique de Tarantino!

Our models came armed with a binder full of stills from the movie. Each pose was true to the Tarantino classic!

Miss Rouge à Lèvres & French Kiss ont bien sûr pris de nombreuses poses "twist"!

Of course, Miss Rouge à Lèvres & French Kiss did a number of twist contest poses!

 

Ce fut une belle journée chaude et les artistes étaient au rendez-vous... et à l'ombre! ;)

It was a beautiful hot day and the artists came out... into the shade! ;)

Nous avons eu bien du plaisir avec nos concours, incluant celui du Royal with Cheese!
