Dr. Sketchy Montréal vous invite à son prochain atelier de dessin de modèle vivant : Dragon & Lion. L'hiver vient. Nous aurons le plaisir de dessiner les sublimes BonBon Bombay et Coeur de Lyon lors de cet événement inspiré de Game of Thrones!

Session #103 - Dragon & Lion

Dr. Sketchy Montreal invites you to its next figure drawing workshop: Dragon & Lion. Winter is coming. We will have the chance to draw the incredible BonBon Bombay and Coeur de Lyon during this event inspired by the Game of Thrones!

The session will take place on Saturday, February 6, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the MainLine Theatre, 3997 St-Laurent Blvd. The cover will be $10 and don’t forget your sketchbook.

Fun fact: Both models participated in the Game of Thrones burlesque show organised by Burlesque Delirium!

Durant le Festival de danse Bouge d'ici, le 9 janvier, nous avons reçu notre premier artiste boylesque comme modèle!

During the Bouge d'ici Dance Festival, on January 9, we had our very first boylesque performer model!

Les artistes étaient au rendez-vous en grand nombre. Nous avons rarement vu les dames en aussi grande majorité... ;)

Many artists were there for the session, and we've rarely seen the ladies in such strong majority... ;)

 

Suite à la pause, nous avons découvert qu'en plus d'être robuste et beau, un bûcheron peut aussi être sexy!

After the break, we discovered that a lumberjack could not only be ruggedly handsome, but be sexy too!

Ce bûcheron (et sa scie) fut une réelle inspiration!

"Posant une nuit à la Société des illustrateurs, j'ai été frustré de voir que mon nom n'était même pas sur le dépliant annonçant l'événement. Plusieurs des artistes présents m'ont dit que j'étais leur personne préférée à dessiner, mais sur l'affiche j'étais tout simplement un "modèle féminin" anonyme - un sexe et un corps, interchangeable avec tout autre. Cette interchangeabilité me rongait chaque fois que je posais. Il y a bien longtemps, des modèles comme Kiki de Montparnasse étaient des reines du monde artistique. Mais mes amis modèles et moi aurions bien pu être des flancs de boeuf. Le matin du 5 décembre, Imogen Quest est venue en autobus de Toronto pour poser à notre séance et nous transporter en haute mer!
